Here are the prizes I have selected, perfect for lovers of antiques, the arts and classic fashion and jewellery:
I have always been a fan of Tiffany glass, and this vase calls to mind those early 20th-century designs, particularly the rich colours of the Favrile glass. Made from recycled glass in a striking blues and greens – a beautiful piece with or without flowers.
This fine bone china box clock, with quartz movement clock, harks back the Arts and Crafts movement. Its design is inspired by British artist Walter Crane’s wallpaper ‘Swan, Rush and Iris’, dating back to 1875 and now part of the collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
The inspiration for this pendant is a watch that was crafted in St Petersburg in the early 20th century by Fabergé. Set with crystals, this is a striking and elegant piece reminiscent of the grandeur of the Russian court.
Are you familiar with the painting Hope II (1907) by the Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt? The work, which is now owned by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, depicts one of his favourite models, Herma, wearing a stunning and vividly colourful dress. Here is a silk crêpe de chine scarf based on the dress, with hand-rolled edges.
These earrings, fashioned from blue jade and coin freshwater pearls, are based on a set worn by Lily Elsie, an English singer and actress of the Edwardian era. Timeless and classic.
